About Us

Our Story 

You can say flowers found me a few years ago and I have not looked back since! I’ve been growing sustainable cut flowers at our home property in Hagerstown, IN since 2019. My wonderful husband helps me out with his handy tractor from time to time :).   

When we are not working at our full time jobs in healthcare, you will likely find us outside with our hands in the dirt!  We have a passion for nature and all its natural beauty.  We want to leave the land better than we found it, and ensure our growing practices give back to the soil and our amazing pollinators.

My hope for Walden Acres is to spread love, hope and joy to the community through flowers.  I want to share all the happiness I experience from flowers with others.  I want to provide florists and the community access to beautiful, healthy and unique blooms they may not be able to find elsewhere.  I hope Walden Acres can be a part of making your next event, family gathering, wedding, or maybe just your kitchen table feel a little extra special.
